If you are looking to disconnect from the world, listen to nature and feel at peace; this is the place for you. I enjoyed the hammock under the treehouse, next to the water. My sons and partner enjoyed fishing right at the cabin from the balcony and private dock; no walking needed to fish.

The Treehouse is very peaceful and tranquil with very limited phone service, which is great when you're wanting to get away from your usual busy life. The kitchen has a coffeemaker,bring your own coffee and filters. There was a working microwave and toaster oven/air fryer, which worked great. We did not use the stove, which has 2 burners, and some pots and pans are provided. Plenty of utensils are available as well as bowls and plates. It felt very homey. Bathroom had plenty of towels, water pressure wasn't too great for shower, but does have hot water with very low water pressure. Up in the loft is a king size bed, which was very comfortable with a memory foam mattress. The ladder works well, just proceed with caution going down.
There is a nice boat dock with a canoe and Kayak provided. We enjoyed fishing and caught a couple of catfish which were released. There's a picnic table and firepit which we enjoyed using. Overall, it was a very relaxing getaway and we enjoyed it all.

We enjoyed our anniversary stay at The Treehouse. We loved being able to fish and watch the turtles from the balcony and canoe in the pond, which made it feel like our own little resort. The tub on the second floor balcony was heavenly. I enjoyed a long bubble bath while listening to the rain drizzle. It's a wonderful place for a couple's getaway or self-care retreat. We discovered that it's also only 15 minutes away from the Texas Renaissance Festival fairgrounds, so it would be a terrific place for a nearby glamping experience during Ren Faire season.
The property is not as secluded as I expected. There are several neighbors nearby in the area. We came during a Memorial Day weekend and on Saturday evening a neighbor's party music carried late into the night. These are things to generally expect staying somewhere during a holiday weekend, but just something to note if you are wanting more privacy. We still felt completely safe and this didn't detract from our overall experience.

We had a wonderful stay . Loved the outdoor tub and the hammock and the giant bed was extremely comfortable!! Yoga on the docks was super lovely . It’s not as immersed in nature as it might seem , the property isn’t terribly big for exploring and the stock pond is very simple. However it was still a great value for us mid week and we enjoyed being out of arms reach from anything much at all . The wolf sanctuary was a gem , highly recommend a visit there .

This was the BEST air b bed EVER! Ty! Ty! Its a beautiful place. Very quiet. Great place for snuggling. I was alone, i read my book. There are things to do. Book ahead. St. Francis wolf reserve is 13 minutes away. Book a day ahead. Only 36 minutes from Houston, and super quiet. Looks like more to come. It would be fool if there was a trail around the property to walk/hike. The lake is sweet and small. Not blue. A very nice addition to the property. The tree house itself is super cool and beautifully built.

Great place to stay with a small family. The kids enjoyed the “treehouse” feel and the ladder to the upstairs bedroom. It’s a tiny setup, but has everything you need to enjoy the outdoors and disconnect for a few days. The kayak and fishing in the lagoon was great, although unsuccessful. LOL!

Wow what unbelievable find! This place was absolutely peaceful and serene. The outdoor bathtub was amazing! The pictures posted are extremely accurate! The host were very responsive with any questions we had! We drive 13 hours from IL and to say the drive was worth it is an understatement! We hope to be back again in the future! What a wonderful way to end our Texas break with two nights in this cute tree house overlooking a beautiful lagoon. All the amenities you could need.
The only downside was how cold Texas was for our trip which was really felt in the house but there is a mini heater to help out.
The bath is a must as the night stars come out.

If I could give 10 stars I would, the host was amazing I had a few last minute questions before arriving and during my stay and she responded in a matter of minutes. The home was lovely and the water was nice. They had canoes and a kayak we were able to use, a propane BBQ pit, and kitchen essentials like pots, pans, silverware, cups, and plates. I’d highly recommend the treehouse!

Omg this Treehouse experience was outstanding had everything plus more than expected. I literally did not feel like I was an hour away from Houston, tx felt like I was out of the country somewhere. My boyfriend & I had a great time staying in this treehouse. The view from every angle was amazing...It was like living amongst the trees. Staying here was def' a step up from glamping. There's a gas bbq pit to grill every night and a canoe to go for a ride in the pond. The only warning I'd give is the narrow staircase/ladder going up the bedroom..its a little scary at first but then you get used to it. The view from the top floor is worth it especially with the tub outside - very romantic! I highly recommend this place if you want to be one with nature!

The treehouse is exceptionally constructed in a very peaceful and relaxing setting. The place is quiet and restful, nestled among pine trees, and the lake is a wonderful blue-green color, with a fountain. I felt at home and enjoyed the serenity of the location. You can see the stars at night from the upper deck, and the large tub is an opportunity to indulge yourself.
The rental is a great value and you will have great memories of your stay.

Took my family of 4 for a weekend trip to get away from the city for a few days. The area is secluded in the woods, quiet and on a small body of water in the back. My girls 6 & 3 both loved the treehouse, they said they want to live there forever. It’s spacious & cozy with a large wrap around deck on the bottom level and a private deck attached to the master bedroom up at the very top. The bathtub is on the top deck, perfectly hidden with lots of hot water. Many amenities were provided already such as extra blankets, fire starter, 2 grills, propane, canoes, hammock, paper towels etc. The only thing I would change would be to add a small dresser for having something to store some clothes/belongings or have an access ladder to utilize the storage nook at the top of the master bedroom. Overall it was great trip and very peaceful. We will look forward to coming back one day and bringing the kids again in the future 🍻

The magical treehouse was a dream for our family! We found the place easily with the instructions provided from Aimee and she was responsive throughout. We spent the first two days by the fire, canoeing, fishing, and just enjoying the serenity. Although our trip was cut short by mother natures games (freezing temps), Aimee and her husband were quick to come and try to rectify the situation.
We loved our short stay and look forward to more in the future. Kids had a blast as well as the pup!

We had such a wonderful time being unplugged from the city and be in touch with nature. It was a perfect getaway for quiet, peace, and relaxing. The owner, Brent, even gave us a tour of the property and how he envisioned it and built it. We caught some catfish off of our deck. My wife and I had a great time and will come back.

Loved staying at the treehouse! We went with our two boys ( 2 & 4 ) and they loved having a bonfire and getting in the lake in the canoe/kayak. It was a little less kid friendly than we thought but we had an amazing time. Everything is new, impeccably clean and the space is perfectly thought out: two patios to enjoy the lake view, a hammock and a bonfire with a picnic table. The bed was super comfortable and the cabin had everything we needed. A perfect place close to home to go relax and disconnect. Aimee was a super host, always willing to help out and the communication with her throughout the process was perfect. Can't wait to come back!

This treehouse was truly an experience. It was so nice to be on the water and in the trees without wifi - a much needed refresher to connect with the earth. If you're going to the Renaissance Festival, this spot is only 15 minutes away and not at all hard to find - especially with Aimee's directions. The bed upstairs was HUGE and very comfy once you climbed in. The view from the tub - WOW! It was better than what we expected.

I do not know where to start but my stay was absolutely amazing here at this tree house! First time I've ever tried to get an air bnb for a "get away" experience usually in busy cities but this was a completely new experience. They thought of it all with décor and things they had available for us. The pictures do not give the tree house justice it is absolutely beautiful and very well made. Very sturdy and firm no issues on getting around the home they supplied us with pots and pans that came in handy as well as a gas grill that we definitely used as well as camp fire wood ready to go overall they provided us with a lot of things to help with our stay. They have 2 air bnbs by the lake and some RVs in the back of the property but the second air bnb was not being used and the people in the RV were either not there or just in the RV because we could barley tell their presence but that being said we were blessed to have this property and lake to our selves and it couldn't have gone better! Had an amazing time in the lake with our dog let loose truly embracing his own instincts since at home he's always full of restrains. Me and my wife were truly able to connect on a different level due to the complete quite peaceful sound of nature with the fountain hitting the lake in the background it was just a truly life changing experience I'd love to come back any chance I get to truly unwind, let loose and connect with nature. 10/10 recommend you to check this place out! Great for privacy, outdoors experience and also a true connection with the people around you and nature.
